The booklet below is a tribute to those Dachshunds that
have excelled inone of our breed's basic traits - using their
nose. They are, after all, a scent hound,
and it is their ability
to follow a scent that is being focused on in this booklet.
This is a compilation of Dachshunds that have
(as of January 2008) defeated the most dogs in Field
Champion stake competition during their lifetime and all
Dachshunds that have passed the AKC Tracking Dog
Excellent (TDX) and/or Variable Surface Tracking (VST)
tests.
